Nearly a Year!

Assalamualaikum WRT WBT

Hello everyone! After nearly a year of absence, I am finally back! Wohoo! :D

With this new look and feel to the blog. I dont know why I suddenly have this sudden urge to start writing my heart out again. It came so suddenly that it took me by surprise.

Hopefully this 'new start' will bring more good this time around. Im planning to make good use of this blog. Pray that I'll try to be istiqamah.

Oh wau.  hehhe. So many things have happened, I dont know where to start! Well, apparently I havent been able to do much for the past 3 days. Been sick as a dog. All I did was eat, sleep, watch TV, solat, sleep some more, eat some more, shivering here and there. So most of the time I wasnt sleeping, I was in front of the computer doing God knows what. (watch movies most of the time *wink*)

So, during those three long days, I had this sudden urge to open back my blog and see what's happened to it. There is was, just as I left it.

Being the ever so eager person to make change before starting fresh, I decided to upgrade the design of the blog. Mind you, Im not sure if I'm finished yet. But having to look at programming every Tuesday to Thursday, Im planning to make this blog as uncomplicated as possible. Hehe. As the saying goes, "Less is more".

Ok, thats it for now. I need my rest to get better. So I'll be back when I can. InsyaAllah :)

Updates!

Assalamualaikum WRT WBT

YaAllah.. rasa bersalah pulak dah lama tak tulis dalam blog ni. Kesiannye.. tak terlayan blog ni, tak dpt bermanja dengan tuan die.

So sorry folks. As usual, my reasons are always the same. No time no time no time!

I guess this is what a life of a daie really is. No time for pleasure, no time to relax. Here's what my week usually consists of:

Monday : Work (8.30-7.00), Meetings (9.00-12.00), Balik rumah tido.
Tuesday : Work (8.30-7.00), Nite (usually my time to catch up with sleep and rest) - Sleep usually at 830.
Wednesday : Work (8.30 - 7.00), Usrah (9.00 -12.00)
Thursday : Work (8.30 - 7.00), Meetings (9.00 - 12.00)
Friday : Work (8.30 - 7.00), Programs
Saturday: Full with programmes starting as early as 7.00 am, finish at 2.00 -3.00 am
Sunday : Full programe, usually arrive home from 5.00 - 7.00pm

And the week repeats itself all over again. So weekends where I get to rest and lepak at home are so scarce. So when I do get one, nikmat sgt.

I do apologise for not entertaining anyone. Im so sorry folks.

But as the saying goes, There is no such thing as "rest" for those who call themselves daie. So the question to ask is, are you a daie?

But I cant wait for the end of the month. Why? Hehehhehehehehhehehhe.. tunggu dan lihat!

Okla, Ill leave you guys with a picture from the programme during the past weekend. Ni kitorg para fasi yg baru lepas keluar sungai. So tgh basah lencun la ni. hehhhe.

Over and out! Peace =)

Jaulah to Singapore

Assalamualaikum WRT WBT

I guess this would be the best time to do a little update. Im not really sure how to start, since so much has been happening.

1st: Jaulah to Singapore

Alhamdulillah, a few weeks back, Kelab Belia JIM (KBJ), whom are the main activists for the Jom Jadi Bijak (JJB) Campaign were given the opportunity to do a jaulah to our neighboring country. The last time I myself went to Singapore (according to my passport) was 2 years ago. Itu pun pegi Changi je, to fetch Aliya. The last official holiday to Singapore was with the family. I think it was in 1995 or something. Haha. So this trip was somewhat a treat.

One of the reasons why this jaulah was organised, was to open opportunities for both countries to combine forces in doing dakwah. One of the stops we made was to Masjid Kg Siglap, one of the many thriving mosques in Singapore.

Anyways, that aside, I'd have to say that we had a blast. Although the day started out with heavy rain.. and it didnt really stop thru the whole day, but alhamdulillah it wasnt one of those terribly hot and humid days. If not, it would have certainly given me a headache and dampen my experience.

Ok, so picture time! :P

At the end of the day, we arrived back in Malaysia at around 8.30pm. Alhamdulillah, back at home ground. Hehe. AND it was still raining!

But among the things I learned from this trip was that the KBJ group consists of the most unique people I have ever had the opportunity to know. We are a bunch who stick together, who are one family rather than just a typical team in an organisation. I am blessed to be working alongside each and everyone of them. Thank you Allah for allowing me the chance to fullfill my obligations as a Muslim with these people.

YaAllah, give us strength in our hearts to always be in this path and grant us Your Rahmah in everything we do. Please accept all our sacrifices as hard work as ibadah.
